Responsibilities:
Kasumbalesa Border Tracking.
Responsible for Monitoring Kasumbalesa.
Border Status Updates sheet ensuring all relevant fields have been updated as at when status changes at the border through constant liaison with border teams.
Responsible for ensuring that the relevant daily status update is reflected per vehicle undergoing clearance.
Ensuring all mandatory documents, i.e., Sydonia Declarations, have been uploaded as soon as vehicle status has been marked as “Clearance Complete”
Pushing all relevant stakeholders to move trucks from the borders as soon as vehicles have been cleared, liaising closing with SCT Teams, Alistair RF Teams and Border Teams.
Required to gain a firm understanding of how all internal systems operate, i.e., Telematics, Forms on Fire and Smartsheets, to enable effective job completion.
Monitor pre-alerts dashboard and escalate where necessary.
Monitoring Secondary Pre-Alert Dashboard.
Identify areas of improvement within the process.

Transport & Logistics Manager
Role Summary
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager administratively and to the operations director functionally; The Transport and Logistics Manager will manage the entire fleet for Pridegems. The Manager will take the lead in planning, organizing, and managing the work to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements. The Transport and Logistics Manager will also collaborate with other Line Managers and senior staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Summary of Key Responsibilities;
Review the transport policy from time to time and makes recommendations to update the policy in order to enhance responsiveness to changes in the business environment and regulations.
Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
Coordinate the acquisition of licenses and insurance for vehicles to enhance compliance with the relevant regulations and laws, and to minimize risks to Pridegems.
Coordinate fitness tests for vehicles to ensure the vehicles are suitable for use in Pridegems business operations, and to prevent safety risks to Pridegems staff.
Respond to vehicle break downs on a 24 hours’ basis, assess faults, and verify repairs done by garages to ensure the repairs are of high quality to minimize breakdown recurrences.
Coordinate the purchase of fuel for Earthmoving equipment’s, pool and personal to holder vehicles to ensure minimal disruptions to business operations due to unfueled Earthmoving equipment’s and vehicles.
Analyze fuel consumption to ensure efficiency in the utilization of the administration budget for cost management purposes.
Ensure that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are maintained.
Assesses motor vehicle availability, develop trip schedules, and uses the schedules to assign vehicles and drivers as per received trip requisitions.
Coordinate the installation of GPS trackers system on pool vehicles to monitor movement in line with the Pridegems transport policy.
Ensures annual maintenance plans are prepared and advice on projected budget for inclusion in the administration budget, to ensure allocation of resources critical for the implementation of the annual maintenance plan.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities to ensure minimal breakdowns for enhanced cost management.
Ensures monthly maintenance and transport reports are done to ensure challenges in the provision of transport services are identified and appropriate strategies identified and implemented to address the gaps.
Recommend vehicles for purchase and disposal to support informed decisions on the utilization of Pridegems resources.

Proven experience in the use of GPS trackers will be an added advantage.
Valid membership to the Zambia Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport.

Provincial Logistics Systems Strengthening Manager
The USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project seeks to fill the position of Provincial Logistics Systems Strengthening Manager to support the GHSC-PSM project in Zambia.
The USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project will be the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and provide health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve partner countries’ management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives.
With 100+ staff across eight offices around the country, this diverse and complex program sets out to strengthen capacity of GRZ to develop sustainable systems that ensure availability and security of vital and essential health commodities through (1) increased data availability and use for informed supply chain decision making, (2) improved quantification procurement planning and coordination processes, (3) provision of cost-effective, reliable international and local procurement services, (4) improved efficiency in warehousing and distribution by Zambia Medicines and Medical Supply Agency ( ZAMMSA), and (5) increased strategic management and planning by Ministry of Health for improved commodity security. The project seeks to recruit (on a one-year contract renewable) for the following position of:
Position Title: Provincial Logistics Systems Strengthening Manager (1 Position)
Reporting: Senior Manager – Logistics Systems Strengthening and Capacity Building
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Provincial Logistics Systems Strengthening Manager will serve as point of contact for the project at Provincial level to coordinate with the Ministry of Health. The manager will also liaise with various donors executing activities connected to PSM. The role will provide supervision of Provincial team members and oversight of various project’s resources as well as properties.
Specific Tasks
Technical Implementation
Lead a provincial office team to meet project objectives focused on improving logistics information systems to avail critical data for informed supply chain management;
Serve as the primary provincial liaison for the project with Ministry of Health Provincial Health Office/s (PHO/s), District Health Offices (DHOs), Zambia Medicines and Medical supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) hubs, USAID implementing partners, and other counterparts focused on enhanced public health commodity security;
Engage with donor management teams located in the regional offices and ensure that the teams are well oriented and updated with the supply chain dynamics of the Province;
Serve as a point of contact for supply chain related matters raised by clinical implementing partners (IPs) operating in the assigned province/s. Assist IPs to troubleshoot and mitigate challenges. Advise on possible solutions for enhanced commodity security;
Champion the utility, usability, and use of supply chain management tools, including Power BI dashboards and a project-developed Stock Redistribution Tool, for enhanced commodity security;
In collaboration with the Logistics Systems Strengthening (LSS) Director and LSS Senior Manager, devise innovations to increase reporting rates, improve data quality, and enhance monitoring of stock status for commodity security;
Coordinate provincial-based project efforts to build the capacity of Ministry of Health (MOH) staff at facilities in the proper implementation of public health logistics systems and commodity monitoring. Conduct ARV, HIV, essential medicine, and laboratory logistics systems trainings;
Promote enhanced facility-level data quality by both leading and providing remote project support to health facilities and targeted Technical Supportive Supervision (TSS) visits. Document and file innovations to increase reporting rates, improve data quality at all levels of supply chain activity in the field, and increase access to information on stock status;
In collaboration with the eSCMIS project, strengthen the utility and usability of eLMIS and provide ongoing technical assistance to MOH staff on the use of the system.
Management
Provide supervision and oversight of provincial team members, to include LSS specialists. Develop roles and responsibilities, design and monitor inquiries, please.
