FRASMAC LTD, is a reputable contractor company servicing major mining companies in Kitwe Zambia.

It is seeking to recruit a general Foreman to:

• Supervise and oversee projects, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to plans and specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule labor, equipment, and materials required for construction activities.
• Inspect and maintain quality and safety standards on the construction site, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

He/she shall be responsible for:

• Managing a team of construction workers, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed.
• Monitoring progress, budgets, and timelines for construction projects.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports of construction activities.

Requirements and Skills

• Diploma in civil engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
