Sales & Marketing Officer – Government Loans

We’re seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer to spearhead our revenue growth strategies of our Microfinance Portfolio. This role blends creative marketing with strategic sales to propel our business forward.

Overview and Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies of our micro loans products. Align initiatives with company goals and market trends

2. Drive sales growth through innovative campaigns and relationship building. Identify new market opportunities and expand existing customer base.

3. Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

4. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities. Develop data-driven strategies to capitalize on market insights.

5. Create and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns. Ensure brand consistency and messaging effectiveness across all platforms.

6. Set and achieve ambitious sales targets. Implement effective sales processes and coach team members.

7. Monitor KPIs and ROI for all initiatives. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

Qualification Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field or relevant advanced degree preferred.

2. 2-3 years in sales and marketing leadership roles in a Micro Finance Institution and Proven track record of driving sales growth from Government related institutions

3. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools.

4. Should be below 30 years of age and living in Lusaka.
