Sales Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and expand our sales operations in Lusaka and Ndola. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales within the logistics or corporate sectors. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and market share.
Identify and target new business opportunities in the logistics sector.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Understand client needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Sales Performance and Reporting:

Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

Work closely with the logistics, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide guidance and support to junior sales staff as needed.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall business strategy.

Business Development:

Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets.
Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand business contacts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the logistics or corporate sectors.
Strong understanding of logistics services and solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region (Lusaka and Ndola).
